Moffat
Buchan Guest House Moffat

Devils Beef Tub and Grey Mares Tail
As a touring base
The town is one mile from junction 15 on the M74, about 35 north of Carlisle, 50 south of Glasgow and 50 south of Edinburgh. This makes it excellent as a touring base by car or bike for both sides of the Border. Day trips to Glasgow or Edinburgh by service bus or your own transport then perhaps use "park and ride". Visit the museums, Edinburgh Castle, retail therapy or Edinburgh Festival in August.
As a touring base Moffat is second to none. Try it for yourself.
