Moffat is about one mile
from junction 15 on the M74, about 35 north of Carlisle, 50 south of
Glasgow and 50 south of Edinburgh. This makes it an excellent
touring base by car or bike for both sides of the Border. Day trips
to Glasgow or Edinburgh by service bus or your own transport then
perhaps use "park and ride". Visit the museums, Edinburgh Castle,
retail therapy or Edinburgh Festival in August.
Moffat is
second to none as a touring base. Try it for yourself. Click here
